Basics

“Paint” is a way to limit which parts of the image will to be affected by an input image. In this video, the teddy bear Content is “painted” on various parts of the canvas to show how it effects the generated image.

Limits

There is a limit (for technical reasons) of at most 2 face drawing and 4 (content+style) drawings.

Advanced Techniques

Multiple Faces

When you use multiple Face inputs, Composer will mix them together by default. By using Paint, you can paint different regions for each face, thus “seperating” them into different people.

Creating Characters

In this example, let’s create an image of a particular person wearing a particular outfit in a given environment.

By default, Composer will mix all these elements together but not totally understand your intention. Styles and content will be combined, and results might look a bit muddled or broken.

Now, lets try the same input, but this time using Paint to seperate the input zones, to avoid overlapping styles and make it clear to Composer which elements we want where.
